The Matchless Copper Belt
- Major 350km Belt in Kuiseb Formation rocks comprising amphibolites, chlorite schists and metagabbro
- Hosts multiple copper-gold deposits in high grade sheet-like bodies of massive sulphides
- The Belt includes recently producing mines at Matchless and Otjihase (on care and maintenance since 2015) which contained a total combined resource of >16Mt @ 2.2% Cu & 1.2g/t Au
- Other projects on the Belt include the Hope-Gorob-Vendome deposit cluster with a combined JORC 2012-compliant Indicated and Inferred Mineral Resource of 10.2Mt @ 1.9% Cu and 0.3g/t Au
- Metallurgical recovery from these ores is typically excellent, producing concentrate via conventional flotation
- African Pioneer Ongombo and Ongeama Projects adjacent to Otjihase mine and well-developed infrastructure
